Thursday Morning

Tonia had a hard night last night. She felt a great peace and joy surround her. Tonia would like everyone to know that she loves them and wishes she could give them a hug and kiss. She is now enjoying her 5th slurpee which she has craved since last Wednesday. We have been reading the comments to her and she greatly appreciates them and loves hearing from each of you. There has been another fund set up for Tonia at Wells Fargo Bank. So you can donate to Tonias family at both Wells Fargo and Zions Bank.

Tonia,
My name is Amy Carr and I am a friend and neighbor of Kristi & Terry. I want you to know what an inspiration you have been to me. Kristi has been sharing your story with me and despite the fact that we have never met in person, I truly feel uplifted and inspired by the woman you are. Kristi speaks so highly of you as a mom, wife, and "sister". It is obvious that you are so loved and adored by all who know you! Thank you for your courage, sheer determination, and strength throughout this trial. You are touching lives because of your example. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!

And I LOVE that you are eating Slurpees like crazy. I've always said there isn't much that could come between me and my Dairy Queen blizzards!

Dear Precious Tonia.

You were my very first friend in Cache Valley. You were sooo easy to love! Your honesty, wisdom, compassion and sensitive, spiritual nature has helped me grow in so many ways.
I will always hold you close in my heart of hearts and cherish our times together. And your keen insight and humor will always bring a smile to my heart.
Don't know if I will ever posses half the courage you have, but your example inspires me to try,'all-ways'.
Thank you dear "TT" for being an outstanding example of a daughter of God.
We like to tease each other
about "love you the mostest", but I need to thank you for "teaching me the mostest".
We would also tell each other, that the first one who gets the chance, will say hi to Helen and my mom.I wanted to be the one to fullfill that, not you. Yet, if anyone was an example of God's will be done, with real joy in their heart, it is you.
You have such a Legacy..devoted and strong husband, and five children that will call your name blessed.Include with that, many, many friends.
How I long to be with you, but understand this is time for family.
It's comforting to know our love will always be a bond between us.

Dear Tonia,

I will always be grateful for the time we were able to spend talking together on March 18. I love being your friend, and I look forward with hope and faith to the time we can sit side by side and visit once again.

Know that there are many people in Texas who are praying for you and your family.

Ryan,

Our prayers will continue with you and your family.

Love, Lonn and Teryl

Dear Tonia,

Our hearts and prayers are with you. You have been such a blessing to my mom Pat since she first moved across the street from you. She tells us so much about you nearly every time we talk. She loves you and admires you, as do we.
May God's love and peace be with you and your devoted family.

Dean (Pat's son) and Elise

Tonia & Family,

Tonia you have always been such an amazing person, full of life and zest. As I read over all of the comments I realize that you are still the same person that I have always known. Keep smiling and eating slurpies they are good for the soul!! We are keeping you and your family in our prayers. Boy you are a great combination of both your dad and mom (looks and spirit). Keep up the amazing work you have started, the mind is a powerful tool!

Tonia, how I wish I lived in Northern Utah right now. I'd like so much to give you a hug and to tell you again in person what an amazing mom you are! There is no doubt in my mind that our familes met for all the right reasons and that our Heavenly Father had a hand in our special friendship. Ryan, Steve and I continue to pray for you and your family. We love you all!

To all of you who are supporting us I give you our sincere thanks. Tonia has been touched as I have read your notes to her. I am sorry and yet happy to say that Tonia has finished her battle with both her pain racked earthly temle and the advesary that was always trying to wear her down. She left in typical Tonia fashion bravely hanging on for an extra 7 to 8 hours so that they could line up organ recipiants. From what we were told there are 3 people today who were blessed by Tonia's last gift physical gift she could give. She was suffering more then she was letting on in those final hours trying to hide it from those in attendence including her five children. She now enters a new chapter of life with her Heavenly Father and Brother Jesus Christ in whom she has faithfully trusted throughout her long and couragous battle. I believe she has been a hero to many and certainly is one of mine. I will miss her so very much as she is my Elfette and Eternal Companion. With all my Love, Ryan Eccles (Elf)
